Chad Bown has joined Flathead Forge as Partner and Managing Director, after more than a decade as a Managing Director at bp Ventures.
At bp Ventures he led venture investment across the Americas. He helped deploy over $1B into emerging technology companies and led more than $600M of portfolio liquidity transactions, and he served on the boards of Eavor Technologies, Xpansiv, Beyond Limits and Saltworks Technologies. He was named to the Global Corporate Venturing Powerlist in 2023.
Earlier in his career he held roles at Shell and Jacobs Engineering, and he served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. At Flathead Forge he focuses on the enabling technologies behind the Industrial Supercycle.
